We are well enough into the gin tasting, that I see a pattern to my choice of favourite gins. I have always enjoyed the pine/juniper flavour of gin, which means that I have a preference for the standard London Dry gins. I also gravitate towards the spicier gins, especially ginger, and I have some floral gins among my favourites. That doesn’t mean that these gins will always be at the top of my favourites list though. The fun of our tasting sessions is that we have had the opportunity to try some more uniquely flavoured gins. It can be hit and miss and subjective to an individual’s taste buds though. I am likely to highly rate a unique gin that tickles my taste buds. But, I keep a good dry gin on hand for a gin and tonic.
